A pre-construction survey is done on properties adjacent to the site of the proposed construction. By reviewing and assessing the property for any existing damage (i.e., roof damage, wall cracks) or foundational issues, before the start of construction, there is a fair and objective assessment to consider after the build should there be any issues that are noticed by the property owner throughout the construction adjacent to his property. To alleviate any possible issues or questions, it is recommended that subsequent surveys are completed during and after construction is completed. In this way, third-party, unbiased evidence is available for any situation where any liability questions are raised during or after construction.
